Q. Why do you have a 7-day wait period before a dog can come onto Campus after getting the Bordatella vaccination?
A. This is a requirement for dogs that have never had the kennel cough vaccination OR have not had it within the last 12 months. We do our best to keep kennel cough OFF CAMPUS. Dogs walk around with kennel cough, spreading it everywhere they go (it’s airborne), for 7 days BEFORE THEY EVEN SHOW SIGNS OF BEING ILL. That 7-day wait period allows the owners to make sure their pets are not carrying kennel cough before they enter our Campus.
